A few spots are still open for the summer exploration seminar in the Peruvian Amazon – deadline April 10. The CGHN offers scholarships up to 5k to support – those deadlines to apply will be announced shortly.

Without further ado, the application for our study abroad program in the Peruvian Amazon is live! Please share along with students. Titled Landscape Architecture / Global Health Peru: Urbanization and human and ecological health in the Amazon rainforest, students can receive the 5 credits in either LA or GH. We hope to attract an interdisciplinary group from public health, global health, built environment, environmental science, and/or other fields.
This year we are running the program during pre-fall, August 23 – September 21, 2026. The application deadline is coming up very soon (Feb 15), but it doesn’t take long (~30 minutes) and if completed by the initial deadline, students are eligible for scholarship from the study abroad office. (They can also complete the application late, but on-time applicants are prioritized!)
