Join the AHEC Scholars Program
Overview: Are you passionate about supporting rural and underserved communities? Consider joining the AHEC Scholars Program—a two-year, multidisciplinary opportunity designed to expand your knowledge of rural healthcare while building a strong professional network.
Program Highlights: Participants engage in a combination of didactic learning, clinical fieldwork, and self-directed learning. Many program requirements can align with and complement your current academic coursework.

Current UW Participation: Twelve UW nursing students are currently enrolled, and we encourage more students to join this growing community.
Eligibility: Open to BSN, DNP, and PhD students at the UW School of Nursing.
