Post-Doctoral position in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina Available

Dr. Dawn K. Wilson is accepting applications for a full-time Post-Doctoral position in the Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina.

The Post-Doc will work with the PI and her multidisciplinary team of collaborators on a large NIH-funded randomized control trial, Linking Exercise for Advancing Daily Stress (LEADS) Management and Resilience in Black Families. This family-based online health promotion intervention integrates stress management and family resilience to promote physical activity and healthy dietary habits in overweight Black adolescents in South Carolina.

The Post-Doc will oversee all aspects of data collection and provide analytic and methodological oversight for the ongoing project. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the planning and execution of data analyses, preparing and submitting manuscripts, writing grant proposals, and developing an independent program of research related to health promotion among minority or underrepresented communities.

Candidates with a research interest in health behavior; physical and mental health disparities; community-based research; motivational and behavioral change theory; statistics; and/or implementation science are encouraged to apply.
