A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide support for support for DNP Core course NSG 551 Health Politics and Policy for Winter Quarter. This graduate course examines concepts, emerging theory, research, and intervention strategies regarding the influence and putative mechanisms of environment and societal factors on health at population, community, and individual levels with consideration of principles of equity and justice in societal contexts. Teaching Assistant Position (25% FTE) Winter 2026 – NURS 425 Health Equity

A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing for an undergraduate course, NURS 425 Health Equity. This course focuses on understanding and addressing health inequities, theoretical frameworks and the root causes of health disparities. The TA will be responsible for assisting the faculty of record, Dr. Jasmine Kaneshiro, in coordinating and managing this didactic course of approximately 80 first-year BSN students.
