The Graduate Scholarship (GRD) provides financial aid to students pursuing advanced degrees as nurse practitioners. The scholarship aims to increase the number of advanced-degree health professionals serving medically underserved areas. Awards are up to $25,000 over three years.
This scholarship may be used to cover the cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, housing, transportation, food, and more. A travel stipend may be available for training at remote sites. Funding supports eligible Nurse Practitioner degrees, including Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), at five nursing schools in Washington state.
Application opens March 17 at 9 a.m.
Application deadline is May 12 at 9 p.m.
