Teaching Assistant Position (25% FTE) Winter 2026 – NURS 415 Nursing Care for Childbearing Families

A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide support for NURS 415 Nursing Care for Childbearing Families. The TA will be responsible for assisting the faculty of record, Dr. Letitia Salazar-Monk, in coordinating and managing this didactic course. Active participation and assistance during all class meetings is expected. The course meets on Wednesdays from 8:30 am – 11:20 am during the Winter Quarter.

Teaching Assistant Position (50% FTE) Winter 2026 – NSG 552 Social Determinants of Health & Health Equity

A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide support for support for DNP Core course NSG 552 Social Determinants of Health & Health Equity for Winter Quarter. This graduate course examines concepts, emerging theory, research, and intervention strategies regarding the influence and putative mechanisms of environment and societal factors on health at population, community, and individual levels with consideration of principles of equity and justice in societal contexts. The TA will be responsible for assisting the faculty of record, Drs. Rebecca O’Connor and Kaboni Gondwe. Class meets on Thursdays from 1:00pm-2:50 pm. We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Biobehavioral Nursing & Health Informatics to provide teaching related support for NMETH 210: Science, Evidence and Health: Mastering Health Information and Personal Health Technologies in Winter 2026.  This undergraduate course is open to all majors; it builds knowledge and critical-thinking skills in health topics.
