Dear colleagues,
I’m writing to share a Summer Quarter course that may be of interest to your students: AMHAR 105: Int. Amharic. This is a beginner‑level class open to all students, with no prior language experience required. The course offers practical communication skills, cultural context, and connections to Seattle’s large Ethiopian and East African communities.
AMHAR 105 can be a strong fit for students in global studies, public health, social work, nursing, anthropology, linguistics, and related fields. If appropriate, I’d appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with your students.
Thank you for your support, Mehari
