You’re invited to a comedy show that centers mental health awareness in the BIPOC community, blending entertainment with meaningful education and open conversation! This event is both a social and educational experience designed to reduce stigma, build understanding, and encourage help-seeking and help-offering behaviors.
What Attendees Will Learn:
- Clear understanding of what mental health and mental illness are—and are not
- Practical self-care tips and healthy coping strategies
- Common signs and symptoms of depression and suicide risk
- Ways to support oneself or a friend during difficult times or crisis situations
Attendees will receive information about local, campus, national, and BIPOC-centered mental health resources to support ongoing care and connection.
By using humor as a bridge, this event fosters connection, reduces stigma, and creates a supportive space for learning, reflection, and collective healing.
