Your well-being matters. The School of Nursing offers mental health resources, safety guidance, and community care spaces to help you navigate challenging times. Students are encouraged to connect with advisers for individualized support. Additionally, the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging is hosting virtual community care gatherings every other Friday from 10–11 a.m. in a trauma-informed setting.

During these “What’s on Your Mind” sessions, Dean Williamson-Lott hosts a virtual, open forum each month (typically on the first or second Monday) to discuss topics and issues related to graduate education. SoN Student Conference Travel Award

A reminder that the University of Washington School of Nursing (SoN) Student Conference Travel Award provides financial support to nursing students to present their research or other original scholarly work at regional and national conferences, meetings, and workshops. This award is supplemental to other sources of funding whenever possible. Students are expected to seek additional travel funds from their departments, advisers, or other external sources.
