Optum Washington (formerly The Everett Clinic) is accepting applications for its 2026 Advanced Clinician Residency. Two nurse practitioner or physician assistant graduates will join the Urgent Care Residency, running September 2026 through August 2027.
This residency provides hands-on clinical training in a high-quality urgent care setting. Residents work closely with a dedicated preceptor in a 1:1 model to support skill development and clinical confidence.
Residents complete 34 patient contact hours per week at the Marysville clinic, including some weekend coverage. An additional 6 hours weekly are reserved for didactics and specialty rotations to expand clinical knowledge.
Walk-in urgent care clinics are staffed by board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Clinicians are supported by an integrated network with access to labs, imaging, and specialty consults.
The residency prepares advanced clinicians to transition into independent practice within a walk-in urgent care model upon completion.
