The School of Nursing (SoN) is now accepting second-round applications for SoN scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year.
Please note: Students who received a scholarship from SoN in the first round will not be considered.
Who Should Apply
If you did not receive a scholarship in the first round, you are strongly encouraged to apply. Every SoN student who will be enrolled in at least one quarter this academic year (Autumn, Winter, and/or Spring) is eligible to apply.
All SoN students are eligible, including US citizens, permanent residents, undocumented students, and international students. To receive funding, you must be actively pursuing a SoN degree (ABSN, BSN, DNP, MS, or PhD).
What to Know Before You Apply
SoN scholarships are modest and meant to complement other sources of financial support. Most range from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per quarter.
Along with your scholarship application, be sure to:
- Complete the 2026-27 FAFSA or WASFA, if you’re eligible.
- Apply for UW Financial Aid, if you’re eligible.
Deadline
The priority application deadline for this second round is Friday, October 30th at 11:59 p.m.
