UW School of Nursing students are invited to apply for the RAIN Summit Student Ambassador Program. Up to six students will receive complimentary access to the Northwest Summit to Reimagine AI in Nursing and Health Care (RAIN) in exchange for event support.

About the program
The RAIN Summit Student Ambassador Program gives student leaders an opportunity to learn about AI innovation in health care while supporting the event. Selected students will gain hands-on experience, professional networking opportunities and access to RAIN Summit sessions when they are not volunteering.
Day-of expectations
On May 15, 2026, student ambassadors should plan to:
- Arrive at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture by 8 a.m. and stay until approximately 4 p.m.
- Assist with registration, attendee directions, signage, AV or speaker support, roving microphones during Q&A, setup and teardown and monitoring supplies.
Students will be assigned specific shifts and will not be volunteering for the entire day.
What student ambassadors receive
- Complimentary RAIN Summit admission, a $50 value
- Access to keynote and panel sessions when not on duty
- A brief Flash Mentorship opportunity with a nationally recognized conference contributor
- A certificate of participation
- Continuing nursing education credits, if applicable
