Nurse Practitioner, Gastroenterology | $10,000 bonus
Optum Washington, formerly The Everett Clinic, is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to join its growing gastroenterology team in Arlington, Washington.
Your practice
- Independently manage and provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care to an established patient population.
- Evaluate, diagnose and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners and gastroenterologists in a team-based care model with a strong referral base.
- Participate in clinical decision-making as a fully integrated and supported member of the care team.
- Work in an outpatient-only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures or call.
- Complete a robust onboarding process of up to six months alongside experienced team members.
- After structured orientation, see approximately 14–16 patients per day.
Schedule and flexibility
- Typical schedule of four 10-hour days.
- Full time is defined as 36 patient contact hours per week.
- After successful onboarding, providers may have the option to complete one full day of virtual visits per week.

Required qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- National nurse practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC.
- Unrestricted Washington State license, or the ability to obtain one before the start date.
- Active Washington State DEA license before the start date.
- At least two years of experience practicing as a fully independent nurse practitioner.
Preferred qualification
- Gastroenterology experience preferred.
