Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (WE Lead) Program
WE Lead is a co-curricular program that supports the advancement of women as entrepreneurs, leaders, investors and agents of innovation.
The program is open to women, nonbinary students and allies across the gender spectrum, including undergraduate and graduate students from any major.
Students can participate by attending events, applying to the annual cohort, applying for the winter quarter one-on-one mentoring program, joining the Student Board or taking part in multiple opportunities.

Upcoming WE Lead events
- Tuesday, September 29, 2026: WE Lead Information Session, 10 – 11 a.m., Founders Hall. Learn about WE Lead opportunities, upcoming deadlines and the Student Board. A light breakfast will be provided.
- Tuesday, October 13, 2026: From Idea to Impact: Women Innovators in Health, 2 – 4 p.m., Hans Rosling Center for Population Health. This panel discussion and workshop will feature women founders developing and leading innovative solutions for human health.
- Friday, October 23, 2026: Thrive Together: WE Lead Mentoring Circle, 9 – 11 a.m., HUB. Registration is required. Students will meet cross-industry professional women leaders, ask questions and make connections in small-group conversations with at least four mentors.
WE Lead annual cohort
The WE Lead Cohort is designed for highly engaged entrepreneurial student leaders who want to invest more deeply in their growth, leadership and entrepreneurial community throughout the year.
Cohort benefits include:

- A community of innovative undergraduate and graduate students from across campus
Students are encouraged to attend an information session to learn more. The application opens October 2, and the deadline to apply is October 14 at noon.

- Thursday, October 8, 2026: 12 – 1 p.m., Founders Hall
- Tuesday, October 13, 2026: 10 – 11 a.m., virtual
- Wednesday, October 14, 2026: Application deadline for the WE Lead annual cohort at noon
