Biobehavioral Cancer Prevention and Control Program NIH T32

The mission of the Biobehavioral Cancer Prevention and Control Training Program is to train public health researchers, health services researchers, and health policy analysts in biobehavioral and outcomes research, communications, and practice outcomes as applied to cancer prevention and control. Funding for the program is made possible by a five-year training grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).
Benefits
The NIH T32 Training Program provides:
- a 12-month stipend of $29,364 ($2,447/month)
- $16,000 for tuition (students will need to cover the building and operating fees separately)
- small travel grants to attend professional conferences
The traineeship is renewable for a second year, depending on availability of funds and whether sufficient progress is made toward the fellow’s training goals.
Decisions will be made by September 1, 2026, and trainees will be appointed September 16, 2026.
