About the conference
Since 2022, Christine King, Tara Lerew, Lanisha Sherwood and Liann Yamashita have conducted research on nurses’ experiences caring for patients with gun-related injuries. Participating nurses shared resources they believe would support more compassionate, holistic care and identified supports needed to improve their well-being while working with this patient population.
This conference is a first step in addressing the needs of health professionals who provide clinical or nonclinical care to patients with gun-related injuries and their loved ones. The event is open to anyone interested in this topic. Please share this opportunity with others who may be interested.
