King County Nursing Association (KCNA) is offering opportunities for nursing students to learn, connect and give back this fall and into the new year.

Fall Summit — Nov. 14
Carey Wallace, RN, MSN, MBA, board chair of Whole Washington, will lead a discussion about universal health care, Washington state’s history and possible pathways forward.
Following the discussion, participants will assemble 400 cold and flu kits for Real Change vendors.
2027 nursing scholarships
KCNA will award 18 scholarships of $5,000 each for the 2027–2028 academic year. Eligible applicants must live or attend school in King County.

- Applications close: Feb. 19, 2027

Also attached are the biographies of the 2026 scholarship recipients. The recipients represent a range of nursing degree programs and share a passion for strengthening the future of nursing.
