The UW School of Nursing’s Anti-Racism and DEI Course Materials Project is making a measurable impact, with two major nursing publishers agreeing to update textbook content based on submissions from the UW community. Students, staff and faculty are encouraged to keep the momentum going by submitting examples of bias found in nursing course materials at the project webpage, where students can also enter a lottery to win a $50 gift card with each submission.
