Psychiatric nurse practitioner positions available
Sound Behavioral Health is seeking psychiatric nurse practitioners to provide psychiatric services through medication prescribing and monitoring, psychiatric evaluations, and consultation with nonmedical team members.
Sound Behavioral Health provides mental health and addiction treatment services for vulnerable populations in the Seattle area.
Position highlights
- Weekly scheduled supervision with an experienced psychiatrist, with additional consultation and support available between supervision sessions
- Opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team that includes therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, nurses and other medical professionals
- Ongoing support from medical assistants and nurses, including assistance with prior authorizations and triaging client concerns and requests
- Protected administrative time equal to 25% of overall work time, excluding team consultation meetings and supervision
