Join the University of Washington School of Nursing for a virtual binational panel bringing together nurses, midwives, scholars, educators and reproductive health experts from Colombia and the United States.
The discussion will explore how recent legal and regulatory developments in Colombia are shaping abortion access and nursing practice. Panelists will discuss clinical care and nurse training, opportunities and remaining limitations for advanced nursing practice, bioethics, health policy and reproductive justice.

Students from all School of Nursing programs are encouraged to attend, particularly those interested in global health, reproductive health, midwifery, clinical nursing, bioethics, health policy and reproductive justice.
The program will include a moderated discussion and at least 20 minutes for audience questions. Attendees can submit questions in writing through Zoom. Participant cameras and microphones will remain disabled during the event.
