Exxat student scholarships
Exxat will award $16,000 in scholarships this year. Sixteen students will each receive a $1,000 scholarship, with four awards available in each category:
- Scholarly productivity
- Diversity and inclusion
- Leadership
- Care for underserved communities
Eligibility
Students from any health science or behavioral science education program are eligible, whether or not their program currently uses Exxat.
Applicants must be actively enrolled at the time of submission. Students selected as winners must provide a letter confirming enrollment and their reported GPA within one week of notification.
Application requirements
A complete application includes:
- A one-page essay of no more than 500 words responding to the prompt for the selected category.
- One letter of recommendation from an experiential supervisor or faculty member.
- A self-reported current GPA, which will be verified with the school if the student is selected.
- A 30-second video explaining how the award would support the applicant’s professional goals.
Students may apply to more than one category but must submit a separate essay and letter of recommendation for each category.

The application portal is open through November 20, 2026. Students must apply through their Exxat One learner profile:
Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Students are encouraged to start early, particularly when securing a letter of recommendation.
The Exxat Scholarship Review Committee will evaluate applications based on essay quality, video, letter of recommendation and GPA.
