A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide instructional support for NSG 551: Health Politics and Policy for Winter 2027. Faculty and students in NSG 551 critically analyze the politics of health policy in the United States and examine leadership and advocacy in shaping politics and policy to address health outcomes. The TA will assist Drs. Daniel Suárez-Baquero and Fran Lewis in coordinating and supporting this didactic course. Active participation, attendance, and assistance at all scheduled class meetings are expected. The course meets on Thursdays from 8:30 am – 9:50 am in HST T-747. Appointment duration is from 12/16/2026 to 3/15/2027. Exact days and hours of employment will be arranged between the TA and the course faculty each quarter.
