ITHS Pilot Awards
- Interdisciplinary Solution Development (IDSD) awards: support interdisciplinary partnerships or teams adapting processes and methods outside the health sciences to accelerate clinical and translational science improvements. $25,000 in total costs for one year.
- Community-Academic Partnership (CAP) awards: support new partnerships between community and academic investigators on projects that generate and implement healthcare evidence in impacted communities. $50,000 in total costs for one year.
- New Translational Science Tools and Methodologies (NTSTM) awards: support the development of computational, biochemical, biological, or engineering-based tools and technologies that advance new therapies and treatment approaches across the translational science spectrum. $50,000 in total costs for one year.
ITHS awards are designed to support pilot work that generates initial data or results demonstrating the feasibility and value of a larger project. They are not intended to fund a complete project from initial concept to publication.
