UW Nursing Simulation Center Earns National INACSL Endorsement

The UW School of Nursing Simulation Center has earned the INACSL Healthcare Simulation Standards Endorsement, a recognition awarded to programs that meet the highest standards for evidence-based simulation education. This recognition reflects the care, rigor, and intention behind the simulation experiences that support learning across UW Nursing programs—helping students build clinical judgment, confidence, and readiness for real-world care. New UW Study Abroad Program to Brazil in Sep 2026

UW students are invited to apply for Nursing Brazil: Health Promotion and Community Engagement, a study abroad program open to students from all disciplines. The program runs Sept. 5 to 27, 2026, with time in Londrina and São Paulo, and offers five credits through NURS 413, Health in the Context of Culture. Your well-being matters. The School of Nursing offers mental health resources, safety guidance, and community care spaces to help you navigate challenging times. Students are encouraged to connect with advisers for individualized support. Additionally, the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging is hosting virtual community care gatherings every other Friday from 10–11 a.m. in a trauma-informed setting.
