- The Northwest Navy Nurse Corps Association (NWNNCA) is offering a $1,500 scholarship to senior nursing students enrolled in a program leading to a bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- The NWNNCA represents current and former Navy Nurse Corps officers residing in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
- This scholarship was established nearly 30 years ago to increase the number of baccalaureate-prepared nurses and to raise awareness of the Navy Nurse Corps as a potential career option.
Eligibility requirements
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree nursing program at a school in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington
- Expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Completed application submitted by June 30, 2026
- Applicants are not obligated to the Navy in any way.
- Applicant information will not be shared with military recruiters.
