Postdoctoral fellowship opportunity
Columbia University School of Nursing is recruiting one postdoctoral fellow for the Systems Science and Comparative and Cost-Effectiveness Research Postdoctoral Research Training Program. This NINR-funded T32 program prepares nurse scientists to design and evaluate systems and models of care. The fellowship begins January 1, 2027.
Program highlights
- Mentoring from nationally recognized, NIH-funded faculty in nursing and interdisciplinary fields
- Research opportunities in NP workforce and care models, team-based and home-based care, palliative care, infection prevention, technology-enabled care delivery, and practice environments and workforce outcomes, including burnout and turnover
- Research seminars through Columbia’s Center for Healthcare Delivery Research & Innovations, Center for Health Policy, and Office of Scholarship and Research Development
- Access to Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s intellectual and data resources, including collaboration with the Mailman School of Public Health
Eligibility
Applicants must be registered nurses with a PhD from an accredited university. The dissertation must have been defended within the past three years. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
Fellowship support
Fellows receive a salary of $72,116, tuition and fees, health insurance, funding to attend one scientific meeting annually, and additional support for research activities as needed.
