Community Health Nurse II Job Opportunities
Thurston County Public Health and Social Services in Olympia is currently hiring three Community Health Nurse II positions for the Nurse-Family Partnership program: one 1.0 FTE in Thurston County, one 1.0 FTE in Lewis County, and one .75 FTE in Mason County.
These roles offer the opportunity to support vulnerable babies, mothers, and families through home visiting, care coordination, and community-based public health nursing. Nurses will work as part of a team to promote family health, connect clients with resources, and support positive outcomes for children and families.
Position highlights
- Work in the Nurse-Family Partnership program
- Serve families in Thurston, Lewis, and/or Mason counties
- Build partnerships through frequent home visits
- Collaborate with public health staff and community partners
- Support health equity and family well-being
Qualifications include
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing with coursework in community or public nursing
- Two years of experience as a community health nurse or related experience
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
- Valid Washington State Driver License or approved accommodation, depending on assignment
