Teaching Assistant Position (25%) Autumn 2026 – NURS 452

A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide instructional support for NURS 452: Care Coordination and Transition Management for Autumn 2026. NURS 452 focuses on exploring the role, skills, and competencies related to care coordination and transition management across care continuum. Course themes include the role of the RN, models of care, evidence-based practice to support patient outcomes and cost savings, patient-centered care planning, collaboration and communication within and between settings/community, the role technology plays, and the structures for reimbursement for services. The TA will assist Dr. Joshua Carter in coordinating and supporting this didactic course. Active participation, attendance, and assistance at all scheduled class meetings are expected. The course meets Thursdays, 11:30 am – 2:20 pm in HST T639. Appointment duration is from 9/16/2026 – 12/15/2026. Exact days and hours of employment will be arranged between the TA and the course faculty each quarter.
