A Teaching Assistant is needed in the Department of Child, Family, and Population Health Nursing to provide instructional support for NSG 555: Perspectives on Implementing Research in Advanced Nursing Practice for Autumn 2026. This course provides an overview of contemporary multidisciplinary perspectives, models and research approaches for advanced practice nursing. Focuses on understanding and applying science to practice, and practice to science. Emphasizes ethical practice, scientific responsibility, research curiosity and use. The TA will assist Dr. Fran Lewis in coordinating and supporting this didactic course. Active participation, attendance, and assistance at all scheduled class meetings are expected. The course meets Thursdays from 8:30 am – 9:50 am in HST T-739. Appointment duration is from 9/16/2026 – 12/15/2026. Exact days and hours of employment will be arranged between the TA and the course faculty each quarter.
