Dear Students,
I’m writing to share an upcoming student ambassador opportunity: the RAIN Summit Student Ambassador Program, which offers up to six students complimentary access to the Northwest Summit to Reimagine AI in Nursing and Health Care (RAIN) in exchange for day‑of event support.
If you are interested, please fill out the application form here.
About the Program
The RAIN Summit Student Ambassador Program is designed to provide meaningful exposure to AI innovation in healthcare for student leaders. Selected students will gain hands‑on experience, professional networking opportunities, and access to all RAIN Summit sessions when not volunteering.
Day‑of Expectations (15 May 2026)
Students should plan to:
- Arrive at the UW Center for Urban Horticulture by 8:00 AM and stay until approximately 4:00 PM
- Assist with tasks such as registration, attendee direction, signage, A/V or speaker support, roving microphones during Q&A, setup/teardown, and monitoring supplies
Students will be assigned specific shifts, so they are not volunteering the entire day.
What Students Receive
- Complimentary RAIN Summit admission ($50 value)
- Access to keynote and panel sessions when not on duty
- A brief “Flash Mentorship” moment with a nationally recognized conference contributor
- Certificate of participation
- Continuing nurse education credits (if applicable)
Timeline
- Application deadline: 30 April 2026
- Notification of selection: 7 May, 2026
Please consider applying if this aligns with your interests in AI, healthcare innovation, or professional development. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to Ian Watson at watsoni@uw.edu.
We look forward to seeing you on May 15th!
Warmly,
Allison & Oleg
