Graduation ceremonies
There are several graduation ceremonies at the culmination of our degree programs:

Pinning Ceremonies
To mark the end of a program, we are offering informal pinning ceremonies for our ABSN, BSN, and DNP programs. Details will be sent to students in the final quarter of their program.
Convocation & Awards Ceremony
Convocation is held annually in June.
Convocation information will be sent to the student e-mail listservs and posted on the nursing student website in April. Follow the posted instructions to RSVP to participate in the ceremony.
UW Commencement
The University-wide graduate ceremony is held on the second Saturday in June, the day following the UW School of Nursing Convocation & Awards ceremony.
- If you want your name included in the program for the University-wide Commencement ceremony in Husky Stadium, review the instructions under “Eligibility to Participate” on the UW Graduation website.
