The SoN Student Emergency Support Fund serves as an avenue of financial support for Seattle campus SoN students experiencing severe financial hardship related to unexpected, unavoidable, and unplanned expenses. Students are encouraged to first apply for UW Emergency Aid. UW Emergency Aid is available to all students.
As we have limited funds, we strongly encourage students to first review other available resources to see if there are avenues of support that may better apply to a student’s situation. These awards are intended to be used in the current academic quarter, but requests for up to one quarter in the future may be considered.
Requests for emergency aid should not replace annual applications for SoN scholarships or UW financial aid.
Please contact School of Nursing Scholarship Support at sonscholarships@uw.edu with any questions.
